Reviv’d Wellness Lounge launched its premier service offering on May 2, 2021. The beauty lounge is the first to offer the Prism Light Pod in the Los Angeles metro area (Burbank). Reviv’d Wellness Lounge offers several state-of-the-art cosmetology services, including Red Light Therapy, Cryotherapy, Compression Therapy, and Fibroblast Skin Tightening.
The Local Business Alliance staff visited Reviv’d Wellness Lounge on the last day of August 2021. Immediately as you enter their facility, there is a feeling of a warm, relaxing European Spa. We toured the facility guided by Marina Caradanian, a well known cosmetologist. The technology on display at Reviv’d Wellness was quite remarkable, we had never seen anything like this at any other medical spa.
We were most interested in the Red Light Therapy room which looked like a combination between a tanning room and HAL’s control center from 2001 A Space Odyssey. As Ms . Caradanian instructed, red light therapy is also known as photobiomodulation therapy (PBMT). The bed or light pod technology is all based on LED lighting so there is no noticeable heat or adverse affects to the eyes while deeply penetrating the skin and body. Folks visit Reviv’d Wellness to use the Prism Light Pod for sports therapy, treating arthritis, and healing chronic pain. The prism light pod works its PBMT magic in as little as 15 minutes with a full-body session.
Another very interesting technology on display was the Cryo 4S which offers Cryolipolysis & Muscle Stimulation Therapy. We never knew cryotherapy could be so good. The device uses the best in cryogenics combined with electrical muscle stimulation and LED lighting to generate an overall remarkable improvement in skin tone and appearance. The technologies are all integrated into 8 different topical applicators to run together in each handpiece. Marina Caradanian told us that this state of the art cold therapy could have very therapeutic results and reduce pain and inflammation.
Ms. Caradanian was most enthusiastic about their compression therapy center which, in layman’s terms, is a method of increasing blood circulation throughout the body. This portion of the wellness lounge is used by athletes looking for quick recovery from sports injury and reduction of lactic acids after vigorous workouts. Other visitors to the lounge use the BOA 2 Max compression therapy to reduce the appearance of visible veins. We also learned that compression therapy can relieve pain, reduce the appearance of cellulite, and can increase the body’s oxygen levels.
Reviv’d Wellness Lounge offers a free initial consultation and reportedly is very popular with hockey players and very well known basketball stars. Reviv’d Wellness Lounge joined the Burbank Chamber of Commerce in Summer 2021.
